Product Overview
The HYLX Zero-Sequence Current Absorber is designed to eliminate zero-sequence harmonic currents—primarily the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th harmonics—that accumulate on the neutral line. Excessive neutral current can cause significant issues such as circuit breaker tripping, abnormal conductor heating, and potential fire hazards.
This device detects the zero-sequence current in real time and generates an equal but opposite magnetic flux inside the absorber, effectively canceling out the targeted harmonic components. By suppressing 3rd-order harmonic currents, the HYLX absorber reduces neutral-line current and helps prevent overheating, equipment malfunction, and safety risks in modern electrical systems.
